Amie E. MAmie E. Marksarks

One of Chicago Magazine‘s recognized 5-star wealth managers over the past 3 years, Amie Marks has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has been an independent advisor and Registered Principal with Raymond James Financial Services since 2002. A graduate of Lake Forest College, majoring in Business/Economics and Studio Art, her double major led her to become a great supporter of the arts. Amie has been a patron of Irish Theatre of Chicago (formerly Seanachai) since its inception, has been involved with its board for a decade, and currently is acting Board President. An active philanthropist, Amie stays very active in her north shore community across many organizations, but remains committed to children and the arts in greater Chicagoland and even abroad.

A member of the ITC board since inception, previously serving tenures as President and Secretary, Michael Cox has over two decades of progressive corporate marketing, business development and client service experience across several different industries, including business services, consumer services, software and technology, and presently leads global marketing and client services for Textura Corporation, a B2B software and technology provider and one of the fastest-growing companies in Illinois. Michael previously served as a Director at Aon p.l.c., where he was responsible for the global deployment of Aon’s client-facing online/e-commerce technology and digital marketing. Prior to Aon, Michael has held ownership, general management, development, marketing and operational roles for start-up, entrepreneurial growth stage, and global Fortune 100 companies and holds two U.S. patents for software and technology innovations. Presently a student mentor, advisor, and guest lecturer with the Carol and Larry Levy Institute for Entrepreneurial Practice at Northwestern University, Michael holds undergraduate degrees with separate majors in Marketing and Japanese from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Martin Murray is District Sales Manager at W.W. Grainger, a Fortune 500 industrial supply company founded in 1927 in Chicago. A proud graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and The National University of Ireland, Galway, Marty and his wife Renee are Chicago natives and reside in the Lincoln Square neighborhood.



Honorable John Robert (“Jack”) Blakey

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Judge Blakey has been involved with the Irish Theatre Company of Chicago (Seanachai) since its beginning, and he currently serves on the board of directors. As an actor in college and London, England, Mr. Blakey’s roles included King Lear and Edmond in KING LEAR, Antonio Salieri in AMADEUS, Caliban in THE TEMPEST, Leantio in WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN, Giovanni in WE WON’T PAY, WE WON’T PAY, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Bernardo in WEST SIDE STORY, among many others, and even a guest appearance as Moskvin in ITC’s production of CHEKHOV IN YALTA back in 1998. Professionally, over the last twenty-five years, Mr. Blakey has worked as an attorney, prosecutor, and now federal judge. After being nominated by President Barack Obama and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate in 2014, Judge Blakey currently sits on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where he hears a diverse docket of criminal and civil matters in one of the largest federal jurisdictions in the country. Judge Blakey previously served as a federal law clerk in the Southern District of Florida, and he worked as a litigation associate in a large private law firm, a state prosecutor in Chicago, and an Assistant United States Attorney in both Miami, Florida, and Chicago, Illinois. Just prior to his judicial appointment, he served as the Chief of the Special Prosecutions Bureau of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he was cross-designated for joint state-federal prosecutions, as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. As a Bureau Chief, his duties included supervising the Cook County Regional Organized Crime Task Force and serving as the Chairman of its National Advisory Board. Prior to the bench, Judge Blakey also served as a national instructor and subject matter expert for the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Association of Attorneys General, among other organizations; and he had extensive experience in reviewing and drafting legislation, including serving as the principal drafter of the Illinois Safe Children’s Act (2010) and the Illinois Street Gang RICO Act (2012). As of 2016, Judge Blakey also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law for the Notre Dame Law School.
